Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited or BAM organized BAM ESG DAY 2023 for the first time under the name “Growing Sustainable Together”.
Mr. Bundit Anantamongkol, Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited, expressed his commitment to conducting business using ESG principles as a framework for driving the organization towards growing sustainably and opened up his perspective on conducting business with ESG principles by stating that in 2023 BAM drives the business with 4 important strategies and is ready to move towards sustainable growth, regarding which the company supports all groups of stakeholders under the concept of BAM 5-Dee (Good), namely Good to the Country, Good to Society, Good to Customers or Debtors, Good to Shareholders, and Good to Employees, to create growth in all relevant dimensions. The 4 strategies include:
- Financial Optimization: accelerate revenue to meet goals, enhance financial performance along with managing operating costs and expenses, and expand the scope of the business and improve the business model.
- Business Process Excellence: maintain the corporate governance assessment score (Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies 2021: CGR) at the level of 5 stars and raise the assessment result (THSI rating) to a better level.
- Brand Enhancement: continuously create brand awareness and enhance communication of the organization's image as well as creating a Digital Transformation Solution to support providing comprehensive 360-degree services to customers and employees.
- Digital Literacy: modify work processes to be more flexible and create BAMGO culture and values (Roadmap to BAMGO).
In addition to the 4 strategies mentioned above, BAM has also driven various projects, which aim at transforming the company into an organization with a sustainability foundation based on the correct operating frameworks, in dimensions as follows:
Environmental Dimension – In the environmental dimension, BAM has set a goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2065, which is consistent with and in line with the national goal. The company has the Go Green Together project which is ongoing and well supported to reduce the impact of climate change and solve the problem of global warming. Activities under the project include: installing solar rooftops at the head office and branch offices; Care the Wild reforestation project in collaboration with the Royal Forest Department and SET which helped promote participation by local communities so that people in the community have more income and can be self-reliant; a project to support the conversion of fuel-powered vehicles to electric vehicles (EV); waste management project; a project to reduce print and photocopying costs; a project to reduce paper use and to promote working digitally; the 8R project (Rethink, Recover, Repair, Refuse, Recycle, Reuse, Reduce, Regift) to create Green Awareness among employees; and the Green Office project.

Social Dimension: In addition to our regular CSR projects, this year BAM is committed to promoting human rights among all stakeholders in the business process, by giving knowledge, providing comprehensive inspection, and treating all groups of stakeholders equally to ensure equality, through participating in the Human Rights Awards competition.
3. Good Governance Dimension: The Good Governance BAM project is committed to effective corporate governance management within the organization, to creating a culture that adheres to ethical principles. Every year, BAM will hold an activity to pledge allegiance and express the joint intention to fight corruption which is participated by executives and employees to promote a culture of honesty, good governance, and transparency which is crucial to moving the organization towards sustainability.
“All of the above has stemmed from a small beginning where all BAM employees worked together ‘using the concept of sustainable organizational development that takes into account environmental, social, good corporate governance factors, helping build credibility for the business through reflecting the business's responsible role towards society and stakeholders in a sustainable way’,” said Mr. Anantamongkol.
