BAM organizes CG Day 2022 to strive for sustainable business development

Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited or BAM organized BAM CG Day 2022 for the third consecutive year with this year's event title being "BAMGO & GOOD CG" at which Mrs. Thongurai Limpiti, Chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered opening remarks and made a commitment to operate the business to create good returns for shareholders along with giving importance to stakeholders in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) dimensions as this will lead BAM to being an organization with sustainable development. She also emphasized that all executives and employees adhere to the principles of good corporate governance (CG), taking them as the company's corporate culture.

The event's highlights included a panel discussion on CG & CSR towards ESG, sustainable development, ESG Risk, the importance of human rights to operations, and the importance of anti-corruption. The qualified panelists were BAM's directors consisting of Mr. Vasant Thienhom, Chairman of the Audit Committee, and Mrs. Maneerat Srisaovajati, Chairman of the Corporate Governance for Sustainability Committee with Mr. Thongchai Chailohakul, Executive Vice President of the Corporate Governance and Risk Management Group, as a moderator.

In addition to the panel discussion, a contest for CG AWARDS was held, of which representatives from the company's various business groups with CG qualifications were selected to participate. They were to be public relations representatives for CG and ESG awareness. Also, participants of the event were asked to complete pre-test and post-test questionnaires before and after the event. This helped build confidence that BAM and all employees will be committed to running the business towards sustainable development of the organization going forward.
